How to download and install Java

    First, check if you already have Java installed on your computer. To do this, click the START MENU at the bottom-left of the screen and type "cmd" and then hit enter. Alternately, you can also click "Windows Key + R" on your keyboard and type "cmd" then hit enter.

     Once the command prompt has opened, type "java -version" then hit enter. If after you hit enter key you received this message: 'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file or as seen in the image below:

then probably Java is not yet installed on your computer. Else, if you see this message:

then your computer is ready for Java.

If you do not have Java installed on your computer, you can download it for free at Oracle.com.
